Dear Kendoka,
We are pleased to offer a special opportunity for female kendoka, regardless of grade or experience level:
a Women’s Kendo Seminar led by Sensei Miho Takenaka.
Sensei Takenaka is currently a doctoral student in Physical Education (Kendo Coaching) at the University of Tsukuba.
As a competitor, she has achieved outstanding results:
Kendo World Champion in the Team category (2018 – Korea, 2022 – Italy)
Japanese National Championships: two-time 3rd place finisher
The aim of the seminar is to support the technical development of female kendoka and to share international experience in a direct, inspiring professional environment.
The seminar will take place after the dan grading.
Date: February 7, 2026 (Saturday), approx. 14:00–17:00
Venue: Puskás Tivadar School, Gyáli út 22, 1097 Budapest (District IX)
Seminar fee for non-HKF members: 10€ / person
No grade or skill-level requirements
Additional training will also be available from Sunday morning to early afternoon with the Hungarian national team.
