We are proud to announce that we will host the High-Level Kendo Grading Seminar and Examinations: 1st–5th Dan (organized by HKF) and 6th–7th Dan (organized by EKF). With the support of Japanese sensei, we hope to deepen our knowledge and practice together.
Although the title says “High-Level,” all kenshi holding at least 1st Dan are warmly welcome to join this special event.

4 October, Saturday, 10:00–17:00: ZNKR Renmei Kendo Keiko (including lunch break)
5 October, Sunday, 10:00–13:00: Continuation of ZNKR Renmei Kendo Keiko
5 October, Sunday, 14:00–17:00: HKF and EKF Dan examinations up to 7th Dan
5 October, Sunday, 19:00–01:00: Sayonara Party

Examinations
1st–5th Dan (HKF)
– The examination fee is payable in cash only (do not transfer in advance). Please note that in the registration form the ‘Total fee to be paid’ will not include the examination fee.
– Registration must be done by the National Federation’s representative on the EKF admin page (https://admin.ekf-eu.com/) by 15 September 2025. (modified to 21.September 2025.)

If the exam is unsuccessful, HKF will reimburse the registration fee.
HKF 1.-5.Dan examination content:
Nihon Kendo Kata* & Tachiai:
1.dan Tachi ippon- to gohonme (1-5);
2.dan Tachi ippon- to nanahonme (1-7);
3.dan and over Tachi ippon- to nanahonme and Kodachi sanbon (1-10).
*Please note that in our regulation the examination starts with NIHON KENDO KATA!
6th–7th Dan (EKF)
– Registration by the National Federation’s representative on the EKF admin page (https://admin.ekf-eu.com/) by 15 September 2025.
– Application fee must be received by EKF by the same date.
Sayonara Party (Gala Dinner): €55 / person
(Includes buffet dinner & welcome drink)
– If you are not staying at Hotel Helia but wish to attend the Sayonara Party, you must order through our Federation via the application form.
– If you stay at Hotel Helia, please choose reservation option a) or b) above.
Charter Bus (for Hotel Helia guests)
€25 / person (if fully booked; round trip on both days)

Cancellations after the deadline: 50% refund of seminar fee; no refund for lunch, party, or bus.
